Greeting of the day

Hi All, I hope you are doing well. This is the thirteenth (13th) tip regarding DevOps & Cloud where today I will share tips related to Jenkins.

Tip

𝐒𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨
I was working on a source code Jenkins pipeline where I configured 13 stages for my pipeline.

𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦
I encountered errors at Stage 7 while testing some changes. To troubleshoot, I intentionally caused the pipeline to fail. Normally, I’d need to wait for the first 6 stages to complete before reaching Stage 7 again. However, to save time, I’d like to re-run the pipeline starting from a specific stage instead of from the beginning.

𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
Jenkins has one of the great plugins known as Blue Ocean. This plugin helped me to achieve my goal of re-running the pipeline from a particular stage which saves me a lot of time.

That’s it for now. Have a good day/night.
